Seekonk Animal Shelter

Welcome Back!

Thank you for your support and patience throughout the 2020 pandemic… we appreciate all of our friends and supporters, who were able to continue sending food, pet supplies and monetary donations to the Seekonk Animal Shelter during a difficult time for all.

We will be holding fundraising events again and while we are unable to have our Craft Fair this fall, we are excited to announce that we will hold an Online version of our Annual Save A Pet Auction which kicks off on October 1st. See below for details and learn how you can participate to help local businesses!

2021 Auction Central

This year, our 34th Annual Save A Pet Auction will be an online event with a little twist. Since many businesses had a difficult year, we will not be asking them to donate products or services. Instead, we want to support them by asking our friends, supporters and social media followers to consider purchasing a gift card or item from a local business to donate to the auction.

We are providing a list of local businesses who donate to our auction if you would like to support one or more of them. If you provide your name and the business where you purchased your donation, we will give you both a shout out on our Facebook page and the online auction! Thank you in advance for your generosity in supporting both local businesses and the Seekonk Animal Shelter.

Save A Pet Society

The Save A Pet Society is a volunteer-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Seekonk, MA.

We provide necessary funding to keep homeless animals at the Seekonk Animal Shelter healthy, safe, and comfortable until they are adopted. We actively seek to match homeless animals with people in need of a new friend.

In addition to facilitating the adoption of sheltered animals, we are active in the community, encouraging pet owners to spay and neuter their pets in order to reduce the number of homeless unwanted animals.

The Save A Pet Society believes every dog and cat deserves a person or family that is willing to make a commitment to a pet for a lifetime. While these animals are waiting for homes, we want to give them all the care that they need.

If you have any questions about Seekonk Save A Pet, please feel free to contact us using the information on the Contact page.
